Avalanche Studios, the folks behind Mad Max, Rage 2, and Just Cause are building a new co-op open world game...built on the next generation of the Apex Engine it's described as a "co-op smuggler’s paradise set in the fictional world of 1970s Bayan"...

Coop though...I want single player!

apparently it'll have a single-player story campaign but looks like co-op will be the main focus...

and what's the opposite of that for games like Spider-Man 2, GoW: Ragnarok, Last of Us II, Forbidden West, Alan Wake 2 etc?...the usual answer is...well, it didn't sell as well as the previous game in the series...lol...go woke, never be broke?

or let's see...it could just mean that the game just wasn't as good as the previous game in terms of story, gameplay etc...I know shocker right...I love how that's always ignored...sometimes sequels are just not as good as the original...same with movies...it's actually the norm more than the exception

when a game fails the anti-DEI folk like to take credit (even though it had nothing to do with them)...when a game suceeds they come up with some other "copium" mechanism

A sequel selling half the units as the original like Marvel's Spider-Man 2 is significant. Horizon Forbidden West sold 66% less than the original. Pick a game that wasn't packaged with new consoles like God of War 2018. Its sequel sold 25% less.

and you can pick a game sequel that has no DEI elements and the same thing will happen...it's easy to cherry pick stats
