Conroe Pre-Orders?

Hey guys.
I'm wanting to go Conroe once they hit market. I was wondering if anyone knew of a reputable (sp?) store/person offering pre-orders on these bad-boys, so that I could go ahead and reserve the chip I want, so that I get them when they hit market.

Any help/advice/info would be greatly appreciated.

I'd love this info as well. I am ready to drop $1500 on a new gaming system the day conroe launches. I know i'm not the only one in the same boat.

Ditto. I was looking at Monarch. They seem to have gotten the AM2 stuff out super-fast. I'm hoping the same will apply to Conroe.

I'd hold off on getting anything Mobo/CPU related until Conroe's either on the streets or at least some mainboard reviews are around. Right now everything's based on just an Intel prototype board.

Here's a good question:

Are there any companies that have consistently put out a good board every time a new chip is introduced?

NO! New board bugs have bitten each of them at one time or another.

I'd say your best bet is Asus as they have traditionally gotten around their bugs with bios updates quicker than others.
