Does anyone have or know what to expect from a Connect3D X1800XT OEM card? This is the brand for sale on NewEgg and I'm unfamiliar with them.

Any advice concerning this card?

Had a Connect3D X800XL, never had any problems with it. I have no clue how their customer service would be in a crisis situation.

My 3dconnect x800gto is great, but the ATI x1800xt retail version is also in stock and only $10 more.

C3D has been around a long time

All cards are of the same quality, but some companies provide better warranties and stuff

I bought a Connect3D 9600XT way back when and the fan died right away. I took it back to the store where I bought it and they gave me a Sapphire card and which is still running strong. The store had so many returns on the Connect3D card their distributor said to replace them with Sapphires. I assume they did the same for everyone else that was selling them - I haven't seen a Connect3D card around here in retail since.

Then again, that was a while ago and their quality may have improved. I prefer to spend the extra few bucks and get the BBA cards, you know they're going to last.

Thanks for the replies. From what I'm hearing it sounds like the Connect3D is a decent card. However, I found a great deal on an OEM Sapphire card and went ahead and made the purchase.

Fair enough, price seems to be the determining factor for graphics cards right now anyway :D

Oh, nice sig ;) Maybe I'll put something in mine about people writing "could of" instead of "could have" that one drives me nuts!

Connect 3d x800xl running strong here...scores just as good as other brands. Id buy a connect 3d again; In fact...I have been keeping my eye on the x1800xl's but sapphire and ati have lower prices on that card right now.
