I'd like to move my desktop further away from my racing simulation rig. I was almost going to buy a bunch of USB male to female extension cables to be able to plug in all my stuff, but then I thought maybe I could get a single usb multiplier and plug all them into it with only one usb extension. I don't want to make more clutter.
I'd like to know if plug everything in like that will affect their performance. I found this on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-PORT-SLIM..._USB_Cables_Hubs_Adapters&hash=item5ae56e775b) that I want to get, but not if any of my equipment will be messed up. Here's a list of things connected to the PC
Keyboard, Logitech G25, Leo Bodnar SLI-M based steering wheel, DIY button box from generic game controller, & USB headset for now.

You're going to need a powered USB hub. That hub doesn't come with the AC adapter so it's not going to be suitable for your needs.
