Computer troubleshoot help!!

[Rinthe]

Ok last night my computer started getting a bluescreen that says something about an error and that it's shutting down to prevent damage. at the bottom it says physical memory dump and then it just restarts.

and then random artifacts started showing up on the screen when i log into windows, like blue lines across the screen and little dots at random places. i was still getting the bluescreen everytime i log into windows for a few mins.

next, the artifacts started showing during post as well.

i turned off the computer, waited a few hours and turn it back on. everything was fine for about 2 hours. I restarted, ran memtest, for a couple of hours, it passed 100%. i also have NVIDIA monitor monitoring my GPU temp, at around 58C which should be normal.

this morning, i turned it on, everything was fine for about 15 mins, then the monitor just randomly went black. i turned it off and went to work.

Any idea what is going on with my computer? I figured it's either the memory or the video card? Any help would be great!

Sounds a lot like the video card is going bad. I guess the sure way to find out is to somehow obtain a spare video card just to make sure the rest of your system is still working fine.

What SOSTrooper said; Get a spare video card. Also, get a spare PSU if you can as well.
