Computer restarts randomly

I have build a new system.

1. ASROCK p67 pro3 SE
2. I5-2500K
3. 1TB HDD
4. 64GB SSd
5. 2x2gb g.skill sniper
6. Thermaltek tr2 600W
7. Xfx 4850
8. Pci-e wireless card

All was working fine for 2 months, then a week or two later when I brought it home, it started to restart randomly.

I tried working with each ram alone but it still restarts.
Unplugged all case usb, fans, wirless cardes, cdrom but it still restarts.
Put a different PSU…… but it still restarts
Put a gtx 465…….. but it still restarts
Put a different HDD and still restart.
I have RMA the MB, got a new one but the problem is still there.
Did not replace the CPU…..can it be the problem?.

One of the wired thing in the process was with the VGA card , after each install (clean install of win 7 64bit) the computer was restarting , or if I did managed to install the vga and play with it settings it was suddenly restarting. But still if I put my card to a different system it would work fine there. But when I put a gtx 465 (working cared) in my system it still restarts .

I set the RAM voltage but it did not solve my problem.

What else can I do??

I can RMA the CPU but if that’s not the problem…..then I am lost……..

Please help and advice…….

What SSD are you using? Have you tried running the system without the SSD?

Also that pic link is broken.

Does the W7 log say why it's restarting?
 
corair d4, i have run a fresh install on my other hdd 1tb and still the same problem.

did about 10 fresh installes so far :)

log don't say much........couldn't fin any log that would help me narrow the problem.

the wired thing is that the restarts are happening in the bios screen too. just found that out in the last hour,

happened twice in the bios screen on random times.

one more thing i see is the temp in the bios screen is more then in speedfan under windows.

in bios it reaches like 54C while in speed test to 34C. on idle no load.

any ideas.
 
Are you sure you mounted the hsf properly and it's not over heating?
 
HFS, I have the 212 and the stock fan, with both I have this problem.
speedfan shows 30-40C at all times. so I don't think it's a heating problem.

I did not run any of the programs in the sticky, since I have replaces almost all components of my computer, except the CPU.

what are the chances of both my RAM sticks to be faulty?

what test from the sticky should I do?

or may be settings I should set to manual?


one more question: I have a feature on my bios "over temperature protection" it's enabled, is possible the temp sensor is not accurate and trips this function alarm and shut down my computer, even windows?


By the way I do not OC.
 
Try a barebones bench test -- the details are in the troubleshooting sticky.
 
Run two memory diagnostics, Gold Memory and MemTest86, for 12 hours each, because memory tends to be the junkiest component in a computer, especially if the chip brand can't be identified, and G. Skill is not a chip brand. If any diagnostic shows errors, remove one of the modules and test again. No errors? Remove the remaining module and put the first one back in. Still no errors? Then you probably have a module that simply doesn't run well in dual channel mode or when the memory bus is slowed by the extra load of a second module.
