Gonna keep it short for now. Let me know if you have questions.
Motherboard is Rampage II Gene.
Yesterday: Perfectly working i7 920 system.
Today: Same system in a different case will not shut down. Well, it will shut down and then 5 seconds later it will magically boot itself up. Does it from OS or BIOS so I don't think it is a windows setting.
caveat... The new case has a different PSU and I installed a Kuhler 920 as the cooling system.
Things I've done and then tried shutting down.
Unplugged all drives.
Unplugged the Kuhler from USB leaving only the motherboard cpu fan lead attached.
Unplugged the power switch and reset switch lead from the motherboard.
Unplugged all attached USB devices.
Updated BIOS.
Went to regedit anyway and changed the powerdown command from 0 to 1 then back again.
So basically, all that was attached to the system at one point was the Kuhler 920 and the video card.
The case and power supply is this from the hotdeals section.
