I'm know others have had this problem, but as much as I've searched, I never came across any solution for it. After leaving my computer off for a long period of time, after I turn it back on, it locks up on my completely after maybe 10-20 minutes of use. Restarting doesn't help at all, and the only method I found to make it work again, is to slightly change my cpu clock.
This happened after I overclocked, and it was stable for a day or two, then one day this started happening. I tried loading defaults speeds/voltages, and that didn't help at all. I was running @ 3.8GHz when it started, so I basically had to change the speed slightly every morning (3.80 --> 3.79), and it started working again for the entire day perfectly.
Here are my BIOS settings when it started:
CPU clock: 448 x 8.5 = 3.8GHz
PCI-E Frequency: 100MHz
CIA 2: Disabled
Performance Enhance: Standard
Memory Multiplier: 2.00D
Memory Frequency: 896MHz
Memory Timings: 5-5-5-15
Memory Voltage: 2.1V
FSB Overvoltage: +0.25V
(G)MCH Overvoltage: +0.250V
LLC: Auto
CPU Voltage: 1.375V
Does anybody have a solution to this? Thanks
