Computer intermitently not outputting video/starting up

As the title says, my computer is intermittently not outputting video/starting up. Some days it would be fine, others my monitor would stay asleep. Others it will start up fine.

So I swapped out the ram for new stuff, no good, then my known working stuff from my computer, no good. Swapped out the nvidia graphics card, worked for a bit, then back to the intermittent issue.

Long since given up on it since it started not starting up ever, I have no idea what it is. Last thing it was doing with my old 8800gt, if anyone's had this card they know it has a loud initial turn on fan speed then it quiets down, but that will stay on when trying to start it.


New corsair PSU recently when old cheap one fried itself but didn't take out anything with it luckily. Nothing else recently other then changing in a early 8800GT card.

I'm out of ideas, any brainstorming is appreciated.

Specs of the PC would help. Also hit up the stickied "Basic Troubleshooting Guide" on what to do when the PC does not POST.

With that said, my hunch is that the old cheap one damaged your mobo and CPU and therefore is causing the issues.
