Computer freezing

Hello. I am having some problems with my computer freezing often.
It has frozen about 3 times since i reinstalled Windows 7 which was about a week ago. I was playing a game when suddenly the game crashed to desktop. And that's when the computer froze and I had to shut it down by holding the power button down.
there was also a small triangle with an exclamation mark in it down in the taskbar (down to the right by the clock, is that the taskbar?), I'm not sure what that is.

My computer has these components:
Asrock P55 Extreme DDR3
i5 750
4GB ram
GTX 260 SLI (core 216)
Corsair 520W Power Supply
