I can play FPS all night without any crash but playing strategy games is hit and miss. Sometimes the computer would restart, sometimes it would jump back to window. All my hardware drivers are up to date, temp is normal and everything is still in stock form. I have lanparty ultra D, x800xl, 1 gig Cosair ram, Antec 350w psu and amd 3200+. Did anyone have similar experience with strategy games causing window to crash? btw, the game i played was Act of War.

if that's the only strategy game that crashes, I would say it's cause it's a newer game. i'm betting a patch will fix that.

the crash always happened at times where the game was intense. I suspect that it's the psu but would like to hear from ppl who have had the similar experience.

If you haven't already, try a prime95 run or a memtest run and see if that shows anything.

Tell the hampster inside to run on his wheel a little faster :p .

Actually, there might be a stability issue, and running Prime95 might point that out to you like the last guy said, however I would think that would show itself in FPS games too. Maybe a game patch is all you need.
