I was just seeing if anybody knew of any good computer cases that will hold a lot of hard drives? I have seen some with 10 external 5.25" but i want something with more then that. Here is one that would be nice but it is discontinued and to expensive:

Anyways if anybody knows of any please post. I don't want to spend over $100 at all and I would really like to spend <$50. Thanks!!

You're not going to find anything below $50, that's for sure. Even below $100 is a stretch for this type of thing. The most likely path is to get one of the cases with a lot of 5.25" bays like the Antec 900, Coolermaster Centurion 590, Aerocool Masstige, etc., and stick in some adapters to let you mount multiple HDs in 3 5.25" bays. Have a look around the forum for specific components, as there are several other threads dealing with the same subject. You're almost certainly going to have to raise your budget though.

I have a old antec case about 4 years that holds 8 hdds, so im sure if u look around like ebay/craigslist for em.

well the other problem you will run into is that even if you went with an antec 900 = 9 5.25 bays, with 6 of them having 3.5 adapters is that you still need an optical drive and any other peripheral, so now 10 turns into 11....you are now looking into full tower and even server chasis to get that many bays...besides what do you need that many bays for in the first place?
The antec 1200 = 12 bays would probably suit you but now you are getting into the 299 range...unfortunately you will not find a budget case with that much space

Well I have been able to find some cases for close to $100 that are 12 bays or close to, but I have a server and just store lots of movies, music and backup a lot of stuff. I need to add more hard drives but need a pc case to transfer everything into, since the one is full right now. Thanks for the replies! If anybody ahs more please post, thanks!

If this is a server sitting in a back closet, you might consider some of the super cheap cases at geeks.com. After all, if all you're looking for is something to hold all the components together, you don't need to go expensive on the case.

If I got this Centurion 590 with 9 5.25 bays,

is there anyway to get aditional hard drive trays. There is a hard drive tray in there that mount sideways that takes up three bays but holds four hard drives. Do they sell these seperate in any way? That would be perfect!

Yes they do have 4in3 drive modules for sale separately:
Cooler Master STB-3T4-E1-GP 4 in 3 Device Module w/ 120mm Fan - $18 (Currently OOS)

If you can't wait for the CM 4in3 to get back in stock, get the Lian Li version:
Lian-Li EX-24A 4in3 Internal HDD Kit w/120mm fan - $35

If you can jury-rig a fan to mount on this thing, this 5in3 bracket is a good choice as well:
3-to-5 Mounting bracket - $29

That 5in3 bracket wouldn't be so bad, as long as I could get a 120mm fan to blow on it...Anybody use on of these before?

i don't know about tht...all those drives sandwiched like that...even with a 120mm fan...where is there ari going to go? if you blow air against a wall there is no where for it go! lol! :p

Just to follow up and let everybody know what I got this is it:
this case: Thermaltake Armor Series VA8003BWS
three of these: COOLER MASTER STB-3T4-E3-GP

This should hold me about 16 drives. Didn't want to spend that much at all but I figure down the road it is a better idea. I will have all the space I can imagine and should never have that many hard drives! thanks for all the help!

You just need to know where to look. I bought a silver version of the above from someone on craigslist for $80.
