Word on the street is Sandy Bridge is the way to go.

I really want to put 16GB of RAM in my system. The reason is, admittedly, dumb - my first system had 16MB. I was hoping to use a RAM Drive.

I am willing to pay a small premium for aesthetics. Not only will I have a window, but I'm in the design stage to build my own case.

I can't recommeThat Sonata case is gonna severely limit your GPU choices as well as seriously affect your cooling capability. You sure you can't replace the case right now?

Did you choose that Sabertooth based on aesthetics? According to your answer to question 9, it does not look like you need that Sabertooth mobo. Even if you're buying based on aesthetics, that's ~$125 just for aesthetics when the mobo in this combo link will meet your needs:

The difference between the 2500 and the 2500K is the degree of maximum overclockability. The plain 2500 is only limited overclock capable while the 2500K is overclockable up to the CPU's practical limit. The plain 2500 is electronically limited to a maximum overclocked speed of 3.8GHz (38x) with all four cores in use to 4.1GHz (41x) with just a single core in use - while the 2500K can theoretically be set to run as fast as 5.7GHz (57x).
