Hi, I have a new computer which I had Microcenter build. For a few days now, in the morning when I go on my computer and touch the mouse, my computer is unresponsive. It's frozen but the blue light is on, I have to force a shutdown of the computer and then it will work until the next morning.

I'm also having another issue that I posted in another thread where entering full screen in picture viewer won't display correctly on the bottom.

Also I have my monitor set to turn off after 15 minutes but it never does, screensaver is on all night. Another issue I posted in another thread: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1611665 The boot drives got changed in Bios somewhere even though I never went intio Bios.

Here's the specs of my computer:

Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium,

Intel Core i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz,

Please Help. Thank You

Yes, I'll bring it back in and have them look at it. What do you think is wrong with it? The issue seemed to begin after I formated my 3 TB Drives using gpt.

You do have the Asus P67 Pro mobo which has been shown to be a rather troublesome and finicky motherboard.

If you can, have MC swap out to a different mobo manufacturer like MSI or Gigabyte even.

Thanks guys. I also have another issue where my monitor won't turn off and sometimes my screensaver won't come on. I have my monitor set to turn off after 15 minutes of no use but it still won't turn off. Should I have Microcenter run a memory and Hard Drive Diagnostics?

I was away from my house for awhile and when I came back my computer was unresponsive again. The Blue light on the computer is on, it was just unresponsive. I forced a shutdown of the computer again and now I'm using it for now.

Ill be taking my computer to microcenter tomorrow. Any other ideas of what the issue could be? Could formatting my 3tb drives as gpt be causing this issue since 3tb is not standard? I appreciate your help

Have you tried removing the 3TB drive and see if the issue still persists. Though I doubt a HDD format would have caused the issues described in this thread.

It froze again this morning. When it freezes the monitor displays the desktop as though it's on but it's unresponsive. What's strange is that even though my monitor is set to turn off after 15 minutes, it doesnt, the screensaver stays on but the monitor doesn't turn off. I brought the computer in to Micro center today and they will be performing a complete diagnostic of the computer. They should call me in a day or 2.

Well they ran the diagnostics and they said that both memory were bad. They replaced the computer with new ones which they said had no issues. I brought it home but it froze while I was using it.

It's only froze one time as of this moment. Apparently my monitor never turned off last night (it's set to turn off after 20 min) and even though the bubbles screensaver is set to come on after 10 minutes it never does.

Every time I go into screensaver preferences the screensaver says "none" as though I never selected a screensaver to come on. I did this 3 times and it resets to "none" every time.

Also when I display a picture full screen in windows photo viewer there's graphic distortion on the bottom. Here's a screenshot of the issue:
