Damn, if anyone near a new CompUSA is willing to grab me a 500gb drive for $30 I'd be grateful.
I'd PayPal ya the cash for the drive +shipping.
 
Damn is that really the only CompUSA we have left in the D/FW area? Hell... I'm in Mansfield, that's like an hour drive.... but man that $30 HDD is soooooo tempting.

Plus Jack FM is going to be there, I can finally tell them how much their station SUCKS.... lol.

That hitachi sucks- it lags far behind in all the areas plasma is superior in. If you want a cheap 1080p plasma get one of the new panasonics, which is sharing technology with pioneer (the best by far).
 
Wow I thought all of their stores closed. I know all of them in Houston are gone.
 
I live about ten minutes from that particular CompUSA in the above ad, and I'm not sure I'm crazy enough to get up at 5:30am so I can go wait in line (and you know there will be a line) for that $30 drive that everybody's going to be gunning for...
 
As far as I know, my local one isn't there anymore.

EDIT:

If anyone nabs an extra hard drive I'll pay for it, plus shipping and some extra.
 
GRAND RE-OPENING? i don't get it... are these the stores that TigerDirect/Systemax bought?

i did notice the "Systemax recommends MS Vista Business" at the top of the screen. these are probably the stores TigerDirect runs now... that's my bet

Must be because I do remember reading an article that TigerDirect/Systemax had acquired and undisclosed amount of stores for a retail front. This must be those, basically all in Florida or Texas...bugger:(

I'm in Fort Worth.. Too bad they closed the CompUSA on Bryant Irving.. Hey.. are you in law enforcement Blue Falcon????
 
I went to the Plano Fry's last weekend and I was amazed that all the F.U. rebates were listed as instant. That'll make 'em stand out from the Fry's competition down the street. It'll be interesting to see how they compete against Fry's being how close they are to each other.
 
This is definitely for every CUSA store not just the Texas location? I have one 5 minutes away, but I don't feel like getting up that early to find out that they aren't participating.

There are a large amount of latino's in Plano?! I guess i'm there so much that i dont see them anymore........U ASSHOLE! :mad: And yes i saw the ":p" too! They ran out of the hard drives too.
 
I got to one of the Orlando locations at 6:30 and was to late to get the hard drive, oh well, at least i got to see the sun come up.
 
if anyone can get me a drive also but if not then thats fine.
If someone could get the HP DVD-R's I would be grateful and pay you back or trade something.
