I'm running out of space on my C:\ drive and I need to clean it up but I am still in the process of figuring out what I can move/delete. Using the inbuilt compression tool I can get an extra 700MB of space which would be fine for now. Is it alright to run it during the business day or is it something that needs to be done later when there are fewer people logged on.

It's pretty much does everything for us AD, mail DNS, DHCP etc. I didn't set it up and the C:\ drive was only given 12GB of space. I'd love to expand it but I am only IT intern but we have an IT contractor which does our "massive changes" so I'm limited to what I can do on my own.

You can always delete the %ntuninstxxxxx files from C:\Windows, that will get you a bunch of space back. They are hidden folders, so you have to enable that option.
You can also delete the wallpapers from C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper and C:\Window, also make sure the C:\Windows\Temp folder is cleared out..sometimes alot of junk sits in there.
(I got almost a gb back on an older Dell server for a customer that had 15mb space left !)
