ugh... you're lucky i'm not too lazy to click on all those...

Wait for the E6420 price drop to $183. Get the 620W Corsair from ZZF instead of the egg, its cheaper. What an ugly case... I mean, its your choice, lol. What size monitor will he be gaming on and what DX10 games will he be playing? Oh wait, he can't play DX10 games with XP. Maxtors arent reliable. Go with a Seagate or WD drive instead. ECS isn't reliable either, go with the MSI P6N instead, or the DS3. Go with 2GB of ram instead.

Whats your friends budget? Drop the case to a Centurion 534 and drop the PSU to the 520W so he can afford 2GB of ram instead of 1GB.
