Comments on weekends?

I enjoy reading/posting on the news comments I was wondering why this feature isnt available during weekend news.
 
Are you referring to the lack of news postings during weekends? I noticed it, too, but I know Steve takes the weekend off. It used to be Rich Tate who did news on weekends, and then Vertigo Acid, but lately it seems no one's doing it right now.

The forums are generally slower during weekends. At least you don't have to come back to a bunch of new stuff.
 
There were a lot of good news posts this weekend on the front page. There just wasn't links pointing to a forum thread to discuss the news item. That's what the OP is talking about.
 
Yeah exactly. The weekend guy seems to be Tim, and this weekend did have some good news items that would have been nice to discuss, but unlike during the weekdays there is no option to comment. It would be nice if the feature was available all week.

As to OP, we're working on remedying the fact that I don't have forum privileges to start new threads in the news section.
