IIRC, you'll be getting a Wintec-built unit.

Basically an Ultra V-Series 500w with modular cables ... or at least that's what I've read elsewhere.
If it's any help, I had my V-Series 500w running a 7800GT, X2 3800+, and two HDDs without a problem.

It'll work fine, but don't expect power factor correction or any kind of decent efficiency.
 
For $10? Yeah.

The X2 550W is continuous rated. The XVS 500W is peak.

If you are looking for a good power supply on a budget, I would get a 500 watt OCZ or Corsair. They both get consistant good marks and have great warranties.
