Besides common PC usage it will be used for gaming, but nothing too high end.

Thoughts/comments? I'm mainly worried if there any any compatibility issues. Also if you can make recommendations on alternative components that may be more expensive, but give a significant boost, then I'm game.

Case: Antec Nine Hundred Black Steel
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-P55A-UD3
CPU: Intel i5-750 Lynnfield 2.66GHz
RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws 2 x 4GB DDR3 1333
SSD: Corsair P128 CMFSSD-128GBG2D SATA II
Video: EVGA 768-P3-1362-AR GeForce GTX 460 Superclocked 768MB
PSU: CORSAIR CMPSU-750TX 750W ATX12V / EPS12V

What size monitor/resolution?

I'd recommend ditching the Antec 900 case since it's a fairly cramped case and there are roomier and equally cooling cases:
$80 - Cooler Master RC-690-KKN1-GP ATX Case
$70 - Cooler Master CM690 II ATX Case
$90 - Cooler Master HAF 922 RC-922M-KKN1-GP ATX Case
$100 - Lian Li PC-7B Plus II ATX Case
$100 - Lian Li Lancool PC-K7B ATX Case
$90 - Cooler Master HAF 922M RC-922M-KKN1-GP ATX Case
$110 - Lian Li PC-E8B ATX Case
$110 - Lian Li PC-7FN ATX Case
$120 - Velocity Micro GX2-W Silver Classic Aluminum Case with Side Window

No SLI support is the biggest issue I see. I'd go with the EVGA P55 SLI board. Decent priced combo with that cpu too. Would even save you some money.

Don't plan to ever SLI, but I will look into that board.

What size monitor/resolution?

Currently dual 17'', but I plan on getting dual 19''

Thanks for the case suggestions Danny Bui, I will look into each one of them.

Is there a reason why you're getting 8GB of RAM? You doing photoshop or something?

You really need to answer the questions at the top!

"Answer These Questions First"

Some questions I have for you-
Is this an "upgrade cycle" using your existing hard drive?
What OS?
What games?
Why dual 19" monitors? Why not a 22"-24" primary and flank the 22" with the 17"s?
LCD or Crt's?

And these are but a couple of questions that should have been answered FIRST.

It's overkill I take it?

Some questions I have for you-
1. Is this an "upgrade cycle" using your existing hard drive?
2. What OS?
3. What games?
4. Why dual 19" monitors? Why not a 22"-24" primary and flank the 22" with the 17"s?
5. LCD or Crt's?

And these are but a couple of questions that should have been answered FIRST.

1. Mobo on old PC died, been wanting to upgrade for a while
2. Windows 7
3. World Of Warcraft, Assassin's Creed II, Modern Warfare 2, these types of games
4. I like dual screens, I might conciser something bigger, but I did fine with the 17"
5. LCD is what I'll get

I would highly suggest changing your case. I have it and it is just a nightmare (good cooling) but the rest just isn't up to par with newer cases.

My suggestion:

$70 - COOLER MASTER RC-692-KKN3 CM690 II Basic Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Also I would change your SSD to this one:

$330 - OCZ Agility 2 OCZSSD2-2AGTE120G 2.5" 120GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)

Are you going to get a storage drive?

I would suggest:

$145 - Samsung F3 1TB + CORSAIR CMPSU-650TX 650W ATX12V / EPS12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS PSU

As has been said, 8gb is overkill for what you are doing. I would suggest this kit:

$90 - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333

Also would you PLEASE answer the questions in the stick located here. I know you've answered some of them already but it only takes you like 30 seconds to fill it out and it saves us having to ask you any follow up questions.
