I have been waiting for ide/sata command queueing and I have been receiving conflicting things from different people. Hope somebody can clear this up. Does the raptor have command queueing like scsi disks? or is it still being worked on for disks in this year?
I've currently got a Raid0 setup /w 2 of the 100JB disks from wd... and ive been considering replaceing those with two 36 gb raptor drives, but wasn't sure if it supported CQ.
Come this summer.. i'll have a nice roomy 320 gb file server running on linux on my network... using samba (either if the new cq drives come out, or not.. im just gonna replace the two 100JB's with 80's from seagate if CQ doesn't fall through)
mmmmm current uptime 40 days
