hi, anyone can recommend me a color calibrator?
Looking for something as cheap as possible but working for calibrating one display hp2475.
also i have no idea what could be the difference between cheap and more expensive calibrator so please any tips and info is appreciated

Eye One Display 2 might be a little costly, but is an excellent unit and should do a great job on that screen (or any other LCD).

You can go cheaper, but I would stick with this one, because you may have it for a long time, and can use it with multiple screens. It is widely considered the benchmark LCD consumer level colorimeter.

but i'm not even sure if i'll use it more than once, the only reason i want calibrator is cause i've read that hp2475 has really bad colors at default so maybe if there is something cheaper but still working, that would be great.

Then you may want to just make use of a freely available Windows ICM color profile on the 'net if you don't wish to do it on a regular basis. This should keep it from being expensive $$$.

A very good user here (PhilJohn) has made the following color profile (for Windows) available and you can download it. Follow the instructions in the word file and hopefully this will improve the colors. An ICM profile calibrates your video card to send adjusted colors to the monitor so that the end result is closer to more accurate target colors.

You also may want to search through the HP LP2475W thread to see if anyone else has provided a more accurate, or preferable profile.
