Coinbase now has Bitcoin Cash

Coinbase added support for Bitcoin Cash today. BCH is up over 41% for the day as I type.

Their website is having troubles but their mobile app seems to be working fine.
 
I thought the consensus was that bitcoin cash was considered a "sh*t coin".

What's the deal? Are we seeing a changing of the guard?

I think it is, but since it's on coinbase now I'm sure a bunch of people that are riding the waves jumped on.

lets be real, they all sh*t coins. some are just traded on more exchanges and others only in questionable countries.

wonder how much free BCH coinbase was sitting on....or Nicehash bastards.

Right, if the Nicehash hackers got the private key(s), they can just import it into a BCH wallet and steal those too :/ Nicehash prolly already spent it though heh.

they cashed that out long ago and never gave us our cut of course.
 
I took advantage of the panic, but the market was moving fast. Sold $4500 in LTC at $333ea, repurchased at $303ea. ^_^ Missed the bottom by a few seconds because I was trying to cook steaks with the wife yelling across the room for me to watch the baby while I was multitasking on my phone, haha.

Yeah trying to watch this stuff while having a baby is tough. My wife is always asking what I'm doing.
 
I believe the next big thing to go down real bad is Coinbase! Our government has there nose deep in to Coinbase.
 
Inside job maybe, maybe not. Could just be Norks making a
ruckus cause its some dead commie's birthday.

Emptied Youbit of every BTC not in cold storage, what makes
anyone think they can't hack Coinbase's private internal mail?

More to the point, why would Coinbase not postpone till BCH
was relatively flat? Or put some temporary limits on a new coin
to prevent exactly this kind of stampede.

If you can stop a coin and roll back, you certainly held the
power to prevent this from getting out of hand to begin with.
Surely had to see BCH mooning before the announcement,
but didn't have the brains to say "hey waidaminnit."

Coinbase's BCH launch couldn't possibly be part of the same
celebrations. Wouldn't be thier style, those Norks, nosireebob...

Hope the BCH super pump can be delayed until January. Don't want to have a short term taxable event really boosting my tax bracket even further this year. This current $9500 price is fake considering the lack of volume and paused trading on it.

Yea, the funny thing is, she talked me into selling my 2.7 BTC when it was $282 because I had already doubled my money in it. I whip out my phone and show her the bitcoin ticker price on a weekly basis.. lol. Now I have free range to do whatever I want in cryptocurrency. ^_^

I was just about to come on [H] and ask you guys what was going on with BCH ... I'm glad I held my BTC on there during that time period. Can't turn down free money - especially with all the XMas bills incoming!
 
I personally have no idea why Coinbase would list that Bitmain coin over other more deserving coins.
Without Bitmain backing that BCH garbage, NOBODY would be interested in it.

I can't say their insistance on selling their miners in BCH has cost them sales, but it has taken them a LOT longer to sell out each batch where they've insisted on payment in BCH - which should TELL them something but they're not listening.
