WAW is a huge let down single player. But Multi is basically same COD4 Goodness with a WWII resurfacing, so on that merit alone, go for WAW.

cod4 rates 7% higher on gamerankings and is cheaper, so I recommend that.
A whole 7%!! May aswell close the thread now folks!
Personally I'd say a wider spectrum of user views are far better than any single review, the writer of which may have totally different tastes etc to yourself.
But then I'm wierd like that![]()
cod waw 87% is based on 27 different review sites. cod4 94% is based on 78 review sites. This is a wide spectrum of views with reviewers having widely varying tastes. The consensus opinion is that cod4 is better. 7% is a big difference for that large a number of reviews.
FYI, gamerankings looks at average reviews across a wide variety of game review websites. It is very useful for getting an objective opinion of how games compare to each other. Much more useful than listening to one person's review which may be biased, inaccurate, incomplete, etc. Metacritic is another resource that does the same thing and also shows consensus reviews for movies and dvd's.
User views are still better than reviews IMO
Last years review of PES'08 for example scored very highly by IGN....who also happened to have advertising in the game....the same game that was universally hammered as being utter dross.
I'll trust my fellow gamers opinions first thank you very much![]()
+2 on that as well.+1 i trust peoples opinions rather then profesional reviewers
