Photo later but how do you best clean one?

Mine hasnt been touched in over 10 years.

Just got done cleaning my glass res tube a few minutes ago.

What I'd suggest is to tear the whole thing down as far as you can and use soapy water and a microfiber cloth. The scuzz in my glass one came right off with a toothbrush. If it's really been together for ten years, maybe it won't, but it's worth a shot.

I ended up just soaking it in hot soapy water. Nothing more I could do in the end. My res is one of these old swifttech things. Didn't really work. Figured harsh chemicals like CLR might destroy it.
