SSD: $102.99 Crucial M4 CT128M4SSD2 2.5" 128GB SSD

HDD: $79.99 SAMSUNG Spinpoint F3 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB

GPU: $184.99 XFX Radeon HD 7850 2GB

Monitor: $159.99 ASUS VS Series VS247H-P 23.6" 2ms LED Backlight Widescreen LCD Monitor

Please answer question 6 again.

Also, you didn't mention needing Thunderbolt as a motherboard feature you need. So why that mobo?

Ditch the case: it's not that good for the money. Go for the Coolermaster HAF 912 instead.

OS wise, which version of WIndows 7 64bit do you have? Home Premium? Pro?

i don't need thunderbolt as a feature, but i have a friend who has been using it and vouched for it's stability. i trust him to an extent, plus i've had to deal with MSI customer service and they were impeccable with me.
If you have a solid recommendation I'll gladly take it :)

home premium. although I might just upgrade to windows 8.

case ditched.

Well my point is that if you're not going to use Thunderbolt, no point in paying for it. Since you're not overclocking, the MSI Z77A-G43 should fit your needs just fine.

Since you only have Home Premium, note that you're limited to 16GB of RAM max. If you want to use more than 16GB of RAM, you'll need Windows Professional.

I'm fine with 16Gigs, might still upgrade to windows 8 anyways though.
Edited to reflect the changes, just gonna see if any promos pop up this week, if not this is the build im going with.

Thank you very much Danny you're awesome

The "plain" edition of Windows 8 suffers from the same 16GB RAM limitation as Windows 7 Home Premium.

If you want to use more than 16GB of RAM, you have to choose the Professional Edition of either Windows 7 or Windows 8.
