I've got an older Abit NF-7 motherboard, and after some stability problems, I realized that the chipset fan that came with the MB is dead, and thus the chipset is likely overheating. Can these fans be replaced? Where can I get a replacement?

The Vantec Iceberq has been a good replacement for the active cooling that dies on the NF7, IC7, and the like. :)

I would suggest going with a passive cooler, like one of the zalman coolers. They are completely silent and will never fail on you.

I'd say get the HR-01. Its passive, and its big... should keep that chipset nice and cool. Assuming you don't have a large aftermarket cooler, you should have pleanty of room for it.

For whats worth though, ive been running an NF7 w/ a dead fan for months, folding 24/7 without a hitch.
