Chibi-GTX470 (GTS450)

I believe he is implying it is the Low profile equivalent of the 470 GTX, except its cute looking hence Chibi.Though I only postulate.

Looks like this is the new king of the low profile cards, displacing the GTS 250. Should be a great card for a compact SFF build, though the dual slot cooler limits case options somewhat.

how the hell is it low profile ready? there's no single height bracket with the card?

Seems like a lot of people still confuse low profile with single-slot. "Low profile" refers to an actual defined part of the PCI specification established by PCI-SIG. Low profile cards and their brackets are physically shorter, extending a maximum of ~2.5" above the motherboard, vs. 4.2" for standard height cards. It also specifies a maximum card length of 6.6". It has nothing to do with the number of slots the card occupies. You'll see the card in the OP's link can only just fit a single HDMI and DVI connector on the back, whereas standard height cards have space for at least another connector.

Dont even SFF cases have high profile slots? Ive never actually seen a low profile slot on a machine...

The "cube" style cases (Silverstone SG series, Shuttles, etc.) have full height slots. It's usually "slim" style cases that have low profile slots, e.g., the HP Pavilion slimlines, Dell and Gateway slim PCs, the Antec ISK, Inwin has a few cases, so on.
