ok I just would like a clean answer here.... When is the gaming bomb 2 coming out? and How much will it cost (company estimates)? thanx. that case is sooooo sexy.

sweet i can pick it up at micro center ( i live 10 minutes from one :D)

ninja, i luv that case, except for the side panel  Maybe its just bad lighting... nice case too.

I have the gaming bomb 1, and that case just rules. But after pictures, and being able to touch and play around with the gaming bomb 2 at quakecon. It is real cool. It will prob be around $99. The gaming bomb 1 sold for $45.

I was waiting to get that case, but it took so long to be released and I needed a case ASAP. I got a TT Tsunami, and couldnt be happier. ;)

99 bucks at micro center? nice. Just im gonna hafta order some 120mm case fans and a 92 mm case fan.

I ordered this case off of Directron. My New Case

Looks about the same, Has some nice filters in front of all the fans.

no offense or anything but that looks like an apple G4 wannabe. could be me though. but the case looks good though. just thought id throw in my lil comment  hope it works out for you :D

im hoping that hardocp will do a review on the gaming bomb2...im looking forward to seeing how this case stacks up to some of the ones im looking at.

i want a case with really good cooling, and this 1 might just be it. It has 2 120mm slots and a 92mm at the top. All it needs is a side panel fan blowing on the graphix card.

According to the Team Chenbro Forums the end of September. Micro Center will be the first to get it. Link to GB II site.

Here is the latest update.

Production is starting.

We are still in the processing of finishing the Users Manual. It is not ready yet. As soon as it is ready we will announce it.

We are still on track for delivery later this month.

So, in a week or two... I like the looks of it a lot also. I think I will see how much I can get this case from my vendors and save me some $$$ ;)

um...just an FYI, the case will NOT be 99.00.... It will retail for substantially more since it is an all aluminum design... I can't release pricing specifics just yet, but....do the math...chenbro is aiming squarely at upper-end cases from Lian-Li and Coolermaster.

wink, wink.

cheers,

dave

Nice to see someone else likes the Chenbro besides myself...The GB2 looks to be a much better case too, reviews on it have been thumbs up!

i'm currently selling my GB1 on ebay right now...also have an Xspider II ready to go online also..

cheers,

dave

actually the people @ chenbro said it was going to about the same as the gb 1...

Being the same price as a GB1 would seem a bit too low for a quality Aluminum case. The GB1 is steel isn't it? As long as GB2 is priced decently below comparable Lian-Li, Cooler Master, Silverstone cases, I'd be interested in one.

CoolerMasters are going pretty cheaply these days, slightly cheaper than some Lian-Li's (there's a hemorrage of models now, CM trimmed down their line and it seems like LiLi craps them out every week, heh) and definitely cheaper than the Silverstones ('least the all-aluminum one that's going for $200+).

The Praetorian's on NewEgg for $98 and the Wavemaster for $130 or so, if the GamingBomb 2 gets priced any higher than $150 it'll scare some buyers away imo. Comparable Kingwin and even LiLi cases can be had for something in that range or less.
