Looking for a small box all I need it to have is a 3.5" bay and enough power to have a share that can be backed up to. Atom probably okay or a slower core 2 duo or i3

wait... do you want it in a 3.5" bay or for it to have a 3.5" bay? In, I'd recommend a VIA PicoITX solution. Not very powerful, but oh, well, nVidia never released their PicoITX ION board, anyhow.

as for just having one 3.5" internal for HDD, or external for floppy/small LCD panel?
 
Sorry wasn't clear, computer needs to have a single 3.5" bay so I can install a drive cady for hot swap backup drives
