So it turns out, I guess, I need a new PSU. Dont want spend $100 on it though.

First off my current PSU is a 500w Antec Basiq. I'm running 4GB RAM, Q6600 (not overclocked) and a HD4890 factory OC'ed to 950mhz. I'm not sure but I'm having random shutdowns and I believe it to be the PSU.

Anything cheap, (maybe $50-60?) 600W+ but still known for decent quality?

I paid $50 for that one (antec earthwatts 650) last November with the crazy 30% ebay microsoft cashback. It works great. I ended up buying 1/2 dozen of these for work.

The Earthwatts 650W is the cheapest ~600W PSU I'd recommend. Anything cheaper isn't of good quality.

QFMFT.

If you want a ~600W PSU and quality, the Earthwatts is your best bet. So pony up the extra cash for it or just ditch your HD4890 altogether.

Yea, I wouldn't recommend anything at all from OCZ, the earthwatts is the best bet for cheap and cheerful (I've been watching way too much Top Gear) PSU's.
