I can't believe people would give bad reviews over one price mistake after people KNOW that these boards go for more than 700% of the price listed. What person with common sense or a conscience could possibly give them bad feedback.

To put it plain and simple... you're absolutely right.

But

Its unethical to slam and slander for forgetting to add a zero at the end of a price. Its written right into their policy as well. Maybe at most leave a neutral feedback, its the hostile overreaction thats unwarranted, some smaller merchants would never recover from a tidal wave of negative feedback...

Mcdonalds does not sell hundreds of thousands of prices with price updates and changes daily. You guys are greedy and unforgiving. I hope when you make one slight mistake in your life the wrath of the heavens fall down upon you.
 
Dude, leaving negative reviews over this is complete fucking bullshit.

eWiz, face it, isn't that big a company. If 50 douchebags on these boards even leave negative feedback, their reputation will be forever soiled. Why? Because of a price mistake that was likely financially impossible for them to fill anyway.

I ordered it, and honestly I don't expect to get it. If I do, I will leave glowing reviews on resellerratings. If not, meh, nothing lost. However, if they pull some bullshit like changing my order to a price I did not authorize, or bill me before cancelling the order, I will leave negative feedback. Honest mistakes are one thing, but shady business dealings are another.

Basically, if my order is cancelled without issue, I won't leave any feedback at all for them, and no one has any right to do otherwise.
 
ewiz CS sucks ass!

i ordered from them [dec. 4th] for my son's christmas gift. nothing had came yet so i called the 14th to ask what was up. they had fucked up my order and didn't contact me. i was pissed but i trusted them to get it right. then they fuck up my order again but this time they call me [19th]. then i went into holy shit mode my son isn't going to have a christmas. so i ordered from new egg i came in 2 days and all went well.

i fucking hate ewiz! new egg rocks

but that is besides the point

had my dad order 2 with his credit card on friday, and like 10 minutes before that i emailed them with my email address and asked if it was the real price and tehy emailed me back today.

Seven negative reviews for what everyone should have known was a price mistake. I've been tracking deals online for years now and if i said it once i'll say it again...if it looks to good to be true it probably is. Have your fun with the price mistake and place your order... you might get it but 99% likely the order will get cancelled so just suck it up (a sign of maturity) and get over it. Its written into practically every merchants policy that they reserve the right to cancel any order when price mistakes are concerned. And i hardly think a missed '0' zero is bait-and-switch, "price checking software" (bah thats a good one) notwithstanding.
