Good suggestions for a cheap gaming mouse needed....

I don't do anything "competetive" to warrant anything excessive, I use a Corsair Katar on my desktop and it's fine for my needs. Debating just buying another, but figured some of ya'll might have some other suggestions in the same $30ish price range...or if jumping up a few bucks is worth the extra. Don't need a lot of buttons, just a solid accurate mouse.

I don't know what your idea of cheap ass is but if you want tech specs at a lower price, check out these by the guys over at the Tek Syndicate youtube channel. They had them custom OEMed by Chinese manufacturers themselves but since they are no-named, they're cheaper for the same specs. The 33xx are the current best mouse / mice sensor.

Out of stock atm.. But I got mine for $30. Bought it to replace my 2012 Razer Naga. I loved my Naga, but it had seen better days. Was VERY reluctant to switch to anything other than a newer Naga, but super happy I did. Absolutely love this mouse!

In terms of relative percentage, gaming mice seem to go on massive sales now and again (probably because msrp of gaming mice are marked up so high to begin with). I've always found you can find ridiculous deals by trawling Ebay and Amazon, especially for the lessor-know brands. I was able to pick up a new Mionix Naus for $18 a few months back; a hyperx pulsefire for work for $24.

Nixeus Revel (looks like an Intellimouse) - found one for like $20 on Amazon for a cousin. He's pretty happy with it, especially for the price. Can't find it anymore, but eBay has them for $25. Has a Pixart 3360 optical sensor, just like all the expensive gaming mice.

i definitely like the G203, wasn't exactly cheap but wasn't expensive either.. only real complaint i have is the location of the side buttons but sadly the vast majority of "gaming" mice have them in a shit spot for the way i hold the mouse.

I have one of these. I'd second this recommendation.

Bwahahahaha anything Corsair mouse related, you'll be lucky to get a years worth of use out of before something breaks. 2 Glaives both developed double-click issues on single left clicks (switch issue) both within 1 month of use and 1 M65 RGB Pro middle mouse button not working after roughly 1 year.

I have no clue about other models, but this motherfucker is a tank. I'm hell on mice and keyboards, and it hasn't missed a beat yet.

Trust me, if it was crap I would be flaming corsair for it.
