Welcome! And be sure to watch the interface type as many are sas vs sata. And they do mess this up sometimes (hence the deal), so be sure to search the model number to confirm you've got what you want before pulling the trigger.
Yes, I forgot to mention this! On the positive side, you can get an sas controller and enter the world of enterprise grade sas drives on the cheap. I've actually gotten 2TB 7200 sas drives for <$50 before.
Good question. I tried the following for Intel and came up with just one: https://www.cdw.com/search/?key=int...e=all&sr=1&maxrecords=72&sortby=priceasc&ln=2 And then tried these two for Amd: https://www.cdw.com/search/?key=amd...sr=1&maxrecords=72&sortby=priceasc&pcurrent=1 https://www.cdw.com/search/?key=ryz...sr=1&maxrecords=72&sortby=priceasc&pcurrent=1 You typically don't want to try to filter by category since if something was put in the wrong category, you'll miss it. And in cases like the original Intel list before I added a keyword, it will probably be worth going through the entire list as I'm sure there will be another one or two in there listed as some sort of server upgrade part number that will have a usable processor in it.
This isn't 4tb, but it is a 3TB enterprise drive for about 50% off of anywhere else. Seagate Exos 3TB $72
Oops! I forgot about the 3TB drives. Search links for 3tb and 5tb drives: https://www.cdw.com/search/?key=3tb...sr=1&maxrecords=72&sortby=priceasc&pcurrent=1 https://www.cdw.com/search/?key=5tb...sr=1&maxrecords=72&sortby=priceasc&pcurrent=1 And the Exos is Segate's premium product, so this is an enterprise class sata drive with a 5yr warranty and 2M MTBF. Definitely no best buy model.
Someone should jump on these, they are $100 cheaper than anywhere else... https://www.cdw.com/product/synology-ds-ds918-4b-nas-bstk/5546980?pfm=srh https://www.cdw.com/product/synology-ds-ds918-4b-nas-bstk/5546983?pfm=srh
Guys, the 3TB Exos drive I linked is now $57. Make sure to check back on some of these if the price is still too rich for you. Those 22" Dell monitors are now $45 a pop, that's a steal you can get 2 with shipping and tax for less than the cost of 1 new. Several other items listed in the last week or so have dropped again.
Great finds! And don't forget to look at the more expensive ones like this RS3618XS for $1922 that's going for $2600 at B&H: https://www.cdw.com/product/synology-rs3618xs-12bay-nas-rs-bstk/5551634?pfm=srh Check out all the Synology here: https://www.cdw.com/search/?key=synology&outlet=1&searchscope=all&sr=1&SortBy=PriceAsc
Yep! That's the beauty of the outlet--you can just watch an item that's not at the price you want. But keep in mind that if it gets lower than the threshold for liquidation, it will be removed from the outlet and you've missed it.
I just went through a bunch of the link I posted previously and a lot of the stuff is gone. Did you guys buy that much?!?
Decided to bite on one of the 22" monitors. $63.02 including shipping & tax. I was originally going to order two, but there's no quantity discount on the shipping and I really only have one obscure use for one extra display of this size anyway.
Apple Ipad Pro 10.5 smart keyboard for $49 that's the same price for used ones on ebay and waaaay lower than the $120+ that these usually go for new: https://www.cdw.com/product/apple-ipad-pro-10.5-smart-keyboard/5499038?pfm=srh And this is probably the lowest price it's going to hit as I found two more for $60. These will also drop to $49 if you want to wait: https://www.cdw.com/product/apple-ipad-pro-10.5-smart-keyboard/5510190?pfm=srh https://www.cdw.com/product/apple-ipad-pro-10.5-smart-keyboard/5514880?pfm=srh Another one sitting at $94 at the moment: https://www.cdw.com/product/apple-ipad-pro-10.5-smart-keyboard/5536234?pfm=srh
Pulled the trigger on a UPS. (Pay close attention to input voltage & plug type). Thanks SamirD !! Wouldn't have known such good deals could be found w/o your thread.
Awesome! Be sure to fully inspect it when it arrives because generally they don't re-box them and ship them, and if they were shipped before the factory packing may not be enough to get them to you safe. I've still got two return cases open on two units that were doa due to shipping damage. But there's some killer deals for sure--and definitely check the specs on what you're buying using the part number as there are a lot of 230v ones in there. I picked up 10+ of these for a little over $70 shipped each just a few weeks back: https://www.cdw.com/product/cyberpower-1500va-ups-w-avr-lcd/5535692?pfm=srh And these I just had to post as it's only $295 as opposed to the $900+ that it usually is: https://www.cdw.com/product/liebert-gxt4-1.5va-ups-rck-twr-120v/5501919?pfm=srh https://www.cdw.com/product/liebert-gxt4-1.5va-ups-rck-twr-120v/5493086?pfm=srh Oh and this one for $308 vs $1100+: https://www.cdw.com/product/tripp-3000va-ups-smart-online-2u-rm/5485711?pfm=srh This was I think the exact unit I got that arrived with the faceplate busted off, but at $94 vs the normal $300+, it's a great deal if you can pick it up vs ship. You can ship it, but imo chances are it won't make it in good shape: https://www.cdw.com/product/cyberpower-smart-app-lcd-2200va-bst/5495391?pfm=srh
My screen showed up today (one of the P2219H models from the previous page.) Aside from the exterior packaging being a bit beat up, and CDW tape over the stock clear tape that had been broken, this seems brand new. All cables included (power, usb, displayport) and it works perfectly. Screen is flawless, parts are undamaged. That was $63 well spent.
And this is why I keep buying stuff from the outlet vs brand new. Glad to see someone else enjoying the savings as much as I do.
$63 plus $18 shipping so almost $80 which is what the ost new on amazon. i almost jumped on that, that model was over $100 but, some the $80-90 units on amazon don't seem too bad unless that thing has some real image quality.
I'm now very dubious about the goods on Amazon as the marketplace has become even more ripe with fakers and shady people trying to unload garbage. The unit from CDW is the real deal as they don't play games since they have large corporate accounts.
