CCC wont install

I was having some troubles getting a fresh install of XP to provide some decent scores in 3Dmark '05, so I used driver cleaner in safe mode and removed all traces of my cat 6.3 drivers and reinstalled them, but I cant get the CCC to install, my add/remove programs applet shows that it is installed but the shortcut wont open it, it says that it is searching for the target but to no avail, it dont find it. also the right click on the desktop that normally gives you the CCC option isnt there either.
well at stock without the CCC I got a decent score in 3Dmark '05, 10413 but I ussually run my 1900xt at xtx speeds and thats all I want the CCC for, has anybody got any idea what the problem could be?

Try uninstalling through Add/remove programs, then run driver cleaner again and reinstall?
 
If you uninstalled using drivercleaner without first using add/remove programs. Think you have to reinstall, than go through the whole process from the beginning.
 
thanks for the replies, I am going to uninstall thru the add/remove applet and see what happens...

OK so I got it fixed, I uninstalled from the add/remove and reinstalled. I got 10641 in 3Dmark '05 at XTX speeds, and my 3500+ @ 2.47, that score seems about right... right?
