So, I created a preset... But it doesn't seem to be saving. Every time I click the other preset, it sets everything back to default.. I'm really tired of creating a group every time I want to play. :confused:
 
I don't want duplicate.

I want to be able to use the presets to switch between settings.

One setting will use 5760x1080 to make a fake one-monitor.

The other will use three 1920x1080 (extended) with -30 brightness on the center monitor, the other two at default.
 
Duplicate will make the monitors act like a group in eyefinity (fake one monitor). Switching back probably won't be able to change the color settings of the monitors but at least it works.
 
I am having similar issues.

I want one Preset to be my EyeFinity Group (Three monitors acting as one 5760x1200 Desktop)

I want the other Preset to be Three 1920x1200 Desktops (Primary and two Extended)
 
Make sure you create the group first. It definitely works as thats what I do all the time.

I simply created a group with two monitors and kept the other monitor out of the group. I don't do the switching, as I simply keep everything on the two main monitors (all three of mine are mismatched).
 
Suddenly my presets seem to be working without an issue, I am able to change back and forth between my normal extended desktops and my eyefinity

Unfortunately when I set them up I didn't assign them keyboard shortcuts and it appears you can't edit them, just delete or create presets

EDIT: It seems I did create start menu shortcuts though, so I just set up two of my G19 Macro keys to launch said shortcuts. Works great (save for it always messing up my desktop icons

I have no idea, it just started working. I didn't do anything different than before (that I recall)

I'm half afraid to change anything for fear of it breaking something

Although I'm not sure how many games I'm going to use eyefinity with..

The benefit of peripheral really isn't huge, and I go from 60+ fps to 25 in BC2, roughly.. I'm sure it would be better for GRAW.

Too much lag.
 
Okay, I've figured it out - mostly.

After setting it up the way you want, you go to profiles - profile manager. Tell it to save ALL CATALYST SETTINGS. You can go to Activation and set a shortcut too, if you want. They're nice and convenient.

This still leaves a problem. It may place them in the wrong order, depending what port they're plugged into.

Right-click the one that's on the wrong side and click swap. Swap it with the correct monitor, then SAVE ALL SETTINGS again. - For extended. Eyefinity is about the same. SAVE ALL after getting it the way you want.

Unfortunately, I can't make it save my 4th monitor correctly so I disabled it.
