I'm working on a new budget gaming build and I'm at a standstill between 2 cases.
Cooler Master 534 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119104) or Cooler Master 690 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119137) or neither?
I really like the subtle looks of both cases, and right now I'm leaning towards the 534 simply based on price. Other things I'm looking for is good cooling (obviously), quieter is better, and under $100. Whats your opinion? Also whats your opinion on PSU on the top or bottom?

Heres what I'm planning on putting in the case:
Corsair TX-750W SLI/Crossfire Capable
Intel Core 2 Quad Q9400 3.0GHz Overclocked
Cooler Master N520
GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P
Super Talent DDR2-800 4GB (2x2GB) CL4
Western Digital BlackWD5001AALS 500GB 7200rpm 32MB
Samsung SH-S223F 22X Dual Layer DVD+/-RW SATA Drive
SAPPHIRE Radeon HD4890 1GB
Microsoft Vista Home Premium 64-bit

I realize the PSU is bigger than I need, however I was trying to leave myself some wiggle room to add a second HD4890 sometime in the future.

As always, I really appreciate the input you guys provide. Thankyou :p

I think the CM RC-690 is totally worth the extra cash over the 534 due to its better cooling and more room. Another great case to check out is the RC-590:
$60 - Cooler Master RC-590-KKN1-GP ATX Case

As far as the PSU being on top or bottom, I personally don't care one way or the other. However a good majority of cases that I like do have the PSU on the bottom.

OH and don't bother with the WD Black 500GB drive. For the exact same price, you can get an extra 140GB of storage plus the same performance:
$70 - Western Digital WD6401AALS 640GB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive

HARDOCPHD5265

Coupon code for $5 more off that 640gb ;) making it cheaper, bigger, faster, haha... valid till 6/1/09

690 is decent for a budget case... not quiet, but the design is nice and easy to work with...

I like my 690. With half a dozen Yate Loon slow 120's in it, it's very quiet. It's got a hum to it, similar to a Dell office PC, but it's not very loud. I sleep with my head about 6' away from it. The stock GTX285 is the loudest part.

If I were buying the case right now, I might get the 590 instead. It's quite similar, but the front seems to be more accommodating. I also like the plain metal top rather than the 690's plastic cap (though you can put 20mm-thick fans under the cap after cutting out the mesh).
