True, but vsync is a must for me. Tearing just kills all immersion in my eyes. Also keep in mind i was getting better performance with crossfire disabled before the 11.4 install.
 
If that's the case, then even with double the frame rate, CF still isn't working perfectly, was my point :/
Still, I've heard quite negative opinions about the game in general, ignoring the issues with dualGPU.
 
Unable to download the drivers....page is still there but when i click on the link to download it just reloads the page and when i right click and choose "save target" it tells me it couldnt DL the file.

Why is it when my mouse goes over the top right corner of my screen my whole machine stutters? Started happening with 11.2 for me and still present in 11.4.
 
It's a fix for the corrupted cursor bug. Annoying isn't it? It's why I'm still on 10.12a. I haven't tested newer drivers with my 6970s but on my 4870X2s this was a sufficiently big problem it forced me to rollback.
 
Installing new drivers now.
Why does everyone beef so much on the cursor bug?
I know it sucks that AMD hasnt fixed it yet but what are you doing in that corner of the screen?
 
Has anyone who installed these managed to keep their preset CCC states? Last time when I upgraded to 11.2 it wiped out all my monitor presets for different variations on eyefinity/extended portrait/landscape monitor which is a bit of work to reprogram. Thanks.
 
It kept everything I had preset. It has new options as well and has renamed CCC to AMD Vision Engine Control Center, there is a new tab dedicated to just eyefinity group stuff.

Thanks, I'll try it if it has a good chance of retaining the presets. I'm not sure why 11.1a to 11.2 made them work incorrectly.
 
I have this very odd problem - not sure if it's driver related. This has happened a few times already, and I think it's when my system comes out of sleep mode. After my system comes out of sleep mode, my pc becomes unresponsive. Pressing the left/right mouse button does nothing. I can move the mouse cursor but pressing the buttons doesn't do anything. I can't open any application. Basically, nothing works. After I hit ctr-alt-del, hit cancel to go back onto the desktop, everything works again. Anyone know what's going on?

Haven't heard of this before, but if ti just started after updating the driver it's a good bet it's a driver issue. To make sure, just install an older version and see if it goes away.
 
I totally just noticed the top right corner mouse lag problem :( definitely there with these.
 
Tried 11.4 but was getting some awful blue bars flickering all over the place intermittently in Rift so went back to 11.2. Probably more an issue with the game than the drivers though, honestly.
 
Anyone tried this with 6870s in crossfire? My second card is showing up today and I might give them a shot.
 
Not 6870, but I've been running 6850 crossfire quite well with these 11.4 preview drivers.
 
Not sure if this is from the new drivers or not but I'm getting negative scaling in bfbc2 all the sudden. It didn't happen when I initially installed the drivers but since I've started enabling and disabling cf In ccc for gameplay in dcs a10 (doesn't like CF) I've been getting negative scalng in bc2. I was running eyefinty res with eeryrhing on high no as and no hbao and hitting 40-50fps but now it won't get over 25-30fps...
