Case suggestions

I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a good new case for me. Ive seen the coolermaster stacker and it came close but wasnt quite what I wanted.

Here is what I had in mind:

4 exposed 5.25 bays (more is good but this is the min #).
2 exposed 3.5
6 hidden 3.5 - these bays should be oriented in the normal manner facing the back of the case and not turned on the side. I dont like the new orientations some case makers are using. I also prefer them to be at the front of the case. I can accept a case with 4 if there is sufficient room to use the lian li bay addin (3 bay model MF 40).

Case fans: 1 80mm in the front. 2 80mm in the rear or 1 120mm. I prefer a top and side fan but I can always cut these in.

Windows are nice but I can do that myself as well.

Im having a tough time finding this. The only ones I can find are supposedly "weak" and twist easily or have the drive bays oriented wrong.

Really some sort of huge ass file server would be great if it had enough 3.5 bays. Size doesnt matter to me. I want a case with room :).

Thanks for the info.

sorry kind of used to search always being broken. been a bit since i was around here.

Silverstone TJ03 would fit that discription perfectly (well except for having no exposed 3.5" bays, but adapter is made)... I love mine! It's pricey though.

The case itself is HUGE which nice spacing between MB and cages so its not all squished together but not too far apart like the V1000. The case has a 120mm fan on the front with 2x80mm at the rear and an 80mm at the top.

I give this case a 9.5 out of 10, minus .5 for missing exposed 3.5" bays but I dont need them. :D

How about the Stacker? Its big... and can support any drive configuration you want...

11 (or 12) bays you can fill any way you like... 3.5" or 5.25"
Or take 3 of the external front bays and make 4 internal 3.5" bays.
There is a window option if you want it, but its extra. It also comes with casters too if you need them.

So you have alota flexability. Just don't expect to carry that think everywhere you go. I juse moved up to this case and I love it alot.

Here is a detailed review thread I did on the case if you want more information:

Yeah the stacker is just really not for me. I have a 10 bay case now so 11 bays for 150+ doesnt help me much.

Hmm I do have a lot of devices I cant remove that are in 5.25 bays so I cant afford to convert one to a 3.5

I was looking at the t05 but the bays are sideways. Also at those prices I was just considering a Lian-Li might just be better. Of course I am not too sure about that becuase of their new radical way of putting the motherboard and drives in differently (see the new V series.)

EDIT: For reference I have an enermax case that is very similar in design to their silverhawk case. 4 5.25 bays, 2 exposed 3.5 and 4 hidden. Plenty of room just no room for more 3.5 bays. I was thinking if only i could extend this case by about a foot in height and add in those extra drive bays :).
