Okay so I have a Corsair Elite 430, I bought it for dirt cheap not thinking about cable management :(
So is there anyway to mod my side panel to extend my space????

Any advice would help :)

Must be a Cooler Master Elite 430 (?)

To the O.P., Corsair doesn't make the Elite series.

They do make a 400R - is that what you have?

Knowing which one is important...;)

It would help to know the exact case.

But ultimately, regardless of case, this won't likely be an easy mod if you care what it ends up looking like. And since you're wanting to mod for better cable management I would assume you care. :)

Shoot from the hip I'd say a spacer to fit the profile of the side panel, spacing it out an additional 0.25" or so. Plexiglass painted to match perhaps? Or small aluminum extruded channel (like screen door frame pieces)?

Another, WAY more complicated approach would be to relocate the rear panel and mb tray out away from the side panel the necessary distance.

Hahahaha hahahaha wow!
It's the coolermaster.
Was talking about my H100 on another thread and got them mixed up.
My newb is showing... :(

Thanks for the tips!
Seems like a messy job but I'll try it out.
Also on my case (coolermaster elite 430) the two top 120mm spaces won't fit the corsair H100. The fan spaces are to far apart. Any mod for that?

Take your window out, get spacers like those shown in this mod - put it back on the outside using the spacers:

You could run a thin strip of mesh around the window spacers to filter the open air gap...

For the top radiator mod, offset the radiator as much as you can away from the motherboard and get a large 240mm fan grill plate to hide the old holes. Here's an example of the fan grille:

These are great ideas! thanks
any idea where to get those spacers and mesh?

Never mind... the site you directed me to sells mesh lol
Thanks again for the tip!

So even with the window mod, I'm still going to have to cut my case.
He has a hole where the cables are going through. Well that hole was cut.
Should I just use a Dremmel for that?

(The hole is on the mother board backing to the case.

No problem - I already thanked the guy with that window for his idea....:D

Are your side panels reversible?

As in can you remove both and put the windowed one on the backside?

Most cases are capable of this - and it would allow you to build it up with proper clearance and perhaps later either order a new windowed side panel for the other side or cut your own....

That said, if you are ready to cut the panel a Dremel will work fine if you have decent cutting discs.

Chase the cuts with a file to clean them up - and if you want you can get some split tubing to line the inside edge so that cables don't get damaged (or fingers get cut!).
