Case fan too loud.

I'm a deaf person and having a case with 2x 120mm 90cfm 44db Sunon fan never bothered me until now I recently got a pair of hearing aids and those damned fan are driving me insane with it's constant whirring.

I sit about 3-4 feet away from the case. I can hear it over music and game sounds.

Whats the best solution to turn the sound way down without giving up too much air flow? My system is over clocked all on air.

If it's a new fan.. any suggestions? I've never looked for a quiet high air flow fan before.
 
Quick fix, make the fan run on 7V or 5V instead of 12V, this will slow the fan down.
To get 7V, use the red wire instead of black for earth, leave the yellow wire.
To get 5V, use the red wire instead of the yellow, leave the black wire.

Slowing the fan down will reduce air throughput in your case.
This probably wont bother your PC but if it does you will need to buy a quieter fan with the same air throughput.
