card back from RMA showing code 43 error in device manager

my second 5850 just back from xfx RMA (I tested it singly in my system and played sc2 just fine...) is not working in CFX. It is reporting a code 43 error.

I have no idea where to start in fixing this.

Do each of your cards work in the primary PCI-E slot without a code 43? If you swap the cards is it always the second card that shows a code 43? You may want to hit up our support through your ticket or call in if you haven't already.

I will try that when I get back into town. the second card works in the second pci-e slot I have to check both slots. The second card ran in the second slot without issue but in cfx mode the second card shows the code 43 issue.

could it be my cfx bridges?
