Ok... I have 6 year old 1500w Rockford Fosgate amp that hasnt been used in about 5 years...
it has this nasty habbit of blowing a 30amp fuse the second i turn it on. Ive tried hooking up in the car, on my own work bench, a local audio shop and have even sent it back to Rockford Fosgate for repair 3 times when it was under warranty and STILL i have the same issue. Fosgate says its fine and its obviously not. The local audio shop said it melted the coating off of their power cable... and ive gone over the circut board with a volt meter and every component seems to run good with steady and low outputs.
I dont know if anyone out there has had this issue or one similar before but id really like to find a way to fix this if possible. Im willing to listen to any and all suggestions.
