Can't Start My Computer!

It all started while I had a video on playback that froze, caused a blue screen of death to pop up, and automatically restarted my computer. No, I did not catch the contents of it.

Upon restart, after loading the boot menu to select my hard drive (which I always had to do because no system disk can ever be found), I get a nice, new error message:

"Couldn't open drive multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)
NTLDR: Coudln't open drive multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)"

After a couple times of this, my computer stopped recognizing the keyboard, and a couple times after that stopped showing visuals at all.

I took the HD out and went to another computer to try and replace the possibly missing NTLDR file/s, but in repair mode, it said my admin password for the drive was invalid. I tried installing a second copy of windows on the drive, which I know is probably not the greatest idea. Still the same thing.

Then, I tried starting windows from this HD on the second computer: it worked.

Then, I decided to see if a second HD would work. I attempted installing windows on another HD that already had an old copy of XP on it, and after restarting it told me that something was unreadable, corrupt, etc. about the disc and it couldn't load. So basically, nothing will load on my actual system. Anyone have any ideas? Help would be greatly appreciated - I don't really know much when it comes to technical difficulties like this one.

Specs (that I can remember):
Asus SLI-A8N Motherboard
320 GB Seagate HD (XP installed)
Athlon 64 3800+ X2
Evga 6800 GT GFX

It was a concert video saved on my disc, nothing streaming, and nothing I believe to be the culprit.

Is that a SATA drive on an nForce4? If NCQ is on it can really mess things up; NCQ corrupted my Raptor 150 and forced me to reformat it. I'm not sure how you can turn NCQ off if you can't get into Windows on the computer in question, though.

Which disk are you talking about? The hard disk or CD disk?

If its the hard disk you're talking about, I'm thinkyour mobo may be going bad if both hard drives had screwd OS installs. Don't mean to insult your intelligence, but did you reformat both drives before reinstalling Windows XP?
