Can't find a server Power Supply

I can't find any power supplies that have the 8 pin 12V connector, they all just have the 6 pin 12V connector.

Both Corsair models (HX520 & HX620) have an 8 pin with a 20/24 main connector. I don't know if this qualifies as a "server" power supply.

I didn't think that would be hard to find, however, lots of recent ATX2.2 power supplies with EPS compatibility have these connectors.

Power supplies built to the EPS12V standard include a 24-pin motherboard power connector and an 8-pin +12V connector. (there are a lot of them that have the 24 pin connector as a 20pin + a 4 pin addon, you would just not use the addon).

You confuse me ignore the 6 pin connector its for video cards, most supplies have a 4pin aux 12v connector and a 4 to 8 pin adapter exists.

You can find a power supply here (check the power supply matrix link on the right, might be faster than looking through a bunch of them). Also consider doing a seach on supermicros site and find a system that uses that motherboard and see what it has for a power supply and getting one of those.

and buy it here

power supplies start on page 29 of the supermicro product list.

What you have to watch out for is that I think, not sure, so you have to check, is that your board wants the older supplies with the heavy output on the +3.3 and +5 , the majority of newer supplies have the majority of the output on the +12. You need to be sure about which one you need.
