ok i just bought a 2nd 6800 ultra both my cards are bfg 6800 ultra. i have the dfi sli ultra
I SWITCHED THE JUMPERS TO SLI ON MOTHERBOARD.

when i go into drivers it wont let me enable sli says plz remove any cards that are non sli.

what am i doing wrong using new drivers from nvida.

and i have the bridge on connecting the 2 cards

try different drivers?...i think there are specific sli drivers or summit

just bumping this post cos i feel sorry for the man :(

are you sure the cards have exactly the same BIOS? BFG PCI-e cards have the BIOS id written on the backside. Make sure they are both the same, and if not, you have two choices:

1) Send one into BFG and they will flash the proper BIOS for you
or
2) Flash it yourself, void the warranty and get it going right now

I just talked to BFG on the phone because I was wondering exactly how important it is to have exactly the same card, and they say it has to be the same down to the model number and BIOS revision. That may be your problem if you bought them separately.

Good luck.

this was the issue. the cards had different bioses. they wanted me to rma both cards to them. i told them that was crap. well after arguing with him for 1 hour to give me the bios and tool to do it. these are his exact words. " i dont care if your ceo of nvidia your not getting our bios flash tool".

well i said fuck it and used nvflash saved the newer one off my card then flashed it to the other one.

i'll never buy BFG after this incident. wanted me to be without a computer for 2 weeks when they could of let me do it and be done with it. took me a whole 20mins to do it. (after digging my floppy out of the garage)

haha! They probably just don't want you to know that they use nvflash too

well, glad to hear you got it worked out. i hope you enjoy SLI! (wish I could afford it)

well i bought BFG because of there support (or what other users have said of there support) after this incident i'll never buy BFG again.

You might have just been dealing with some jackass with an attitude. I've heard nothing but good things about them, so who knows what's up.

i could hear his bios tech throught the phone saying no way.

im have tempted to call back and say look i fixed it bitch shove that rma number up your ass.
