Is this a good deal?
I am about to pull the trigger on a my 1st DSLR and discovered someone selling a NIB Canon Rebel xsi for $400. Any thoughts on this? or is it possible to find one for less? thanks.
 
With the lens, I believe the lens is the 18-55 starter(?) lens included in the original box. The person is about 1hr away and has stated that the unit is new in box.

Essentially i'm looking for a good low cost DSLR to take with me on a trip to Mexico to capture some memories there.
 
Ive had mine since it release and enjoyed it a lot. Typical entry level DSLR noise problems around ISO800. Been a solid camera and I have no complaints.

Most retail places have the XSI for 450 - 500 still so 400 is not a bad deal if it is NIB.
 
where have you seen it for $400 NIB? i thinking about picking one up myself.
