I can't find this case anywhere, though having the name of it would help quite a bit :D

Does anyone know who makes this, and even better, where I can buy it. I really doubt that it is custom made for Fiire...

I can't imagine anything being better than this for a WHS build that needs a lot of HDD space, and is hot-swappable to boot!.

Well, I feel a bit stupid to not have considered the use of 5.25 to 3.5 adapters. It looks like they used these exact ones:

Ugh, those are expensive though; $320 for the three adapters alone - each one costs more than the whole case

I wonder if these can be found for cheap elsewhere (seriously doubt Fiire pays $380 for a case) or if there is a similar solution that does the job for less?

If you still want hot-swap capability, you can go with this for $30 less than the AMS:
Supermicro CSE-M35T-1B Black 5 Bay Hot-Swapable SATA Backplane - $99

If you don't care for hot-swap capability at all, want to fit 5 drives in the space of 3 5.25" bays and don't mind jury-rigging a fan to cool the drives, you could go with this:
3-to-5 Mounting bracket - $29
