I just built a brand new PC, first time. As of right now it works properly.
I have a Corsair 450 Watt PSU (http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817139003)
Right now its providing power for the following:
Antec 900 Case fans
Asus M2N-E mobo: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813131022
Western Digital 250 gig HDD: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16822144701
DVD-Rom: http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16827136120
Nvidia 7900 GS: http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=20156&vpn=PVT71PUDE3&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1051
Now my question is this: I have a Dell which has a Nvidia 8800 GTX in it. Would my power supply be able to handle replacing the 7900 GS with the 8800 GTX? I have an adaptor for an extra 6 pin connector.
If the answer is no, what would be a good PSU to handle such a configuration?
