Can I extract these sounds?

I'm madly in love with the sounds of the drones from the movie "Oblivion". Is there any chance I'd be able to extract them "cleanly" from the movie?

Someone's attempted an extraction, which fares pretty well, but there's still either mix behind it or sharp cut-offs.

I'm audio-illiterate, but I'm guessing that it'd depend on the mix, and whether the sound effects are isolated on their own channel...? (meaning, I'm guessing it's going to be impossible to get a clean lift)

if the sound effect is on a separate surround channel, Tranzcode can demux the channels into individual wav files.

You'd have to isolate the frequencies and then run a bandpass filter, and that's assuming that there're no other sounds in the same frequency range happening at the same time. You can use Audacity for this task.

It's possible they used some of these sounds for the menus on the Blu-ray.
